The energy transition toward renewables is no longer sufficient on its own. As we step into 2026, new challenges are rapidly reshaping industry priorities, placing resilience, flexibility, sustainability, security, and capacity at the forefront of the conversation.

With this in mind, on February 17th we hosted the BDV Energy Roundtable: “Battery Energy Storage Systems – The Future Is Here“.

The event brought together leading investors, developers, financiers, advisors, and state officials for a rich and wide-ranging discussion. Together, we explored how industry leaders are responding to these emerging challenges, what barriers they face day to day, and what opportunities they see in a future that has already begun to unfold.
